Dr. Simeone discussed that perhaps the greatest and most successful sports racing cars of all time were made by Alfa Romeo, particularly if one takes history back to the 1920s. In the mid-1990s, the company left the USA for lack of sales, but has recently come back to America. Some of their greatest products were highlighted in this August 8, 2015 Demo Day, featuring the 1925 Alfa Romeo RLSS, 1934 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, Mille Miglia Spyder, 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A, and the new Alfa Romeo 4C.

At the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, located near the Philadelphia International Airport, there are more than 65 historically significant cars. That means brands like Ferrari, Bugatti, Mercedes, Jaguar, Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford and Alfa Romeo are on display.

As anyone who hoarded Mattel's Matchbox Cars growing up knows, there's no point having a collection and not playing with it, which is why Demo Days exist at the museum.

During the famous, themed Demo Days, which are held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, the museum brings out sets of cars for a presentation and a drive around the back lot. Cars from both Dr. Simone's collection and from guests are shown.

To start off the Alfa Romeo event on Saturday, Jan. 23 there will be a brief lecture on the history and significance of the car. After the introduction, guests will watch the car in action before getting a chance to check it out up-close and snap a picture.

There will be three cars featured: 1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Le Mans, 1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza Spyder and 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A.
