A water main break in Southwest Philadelphia affected 50 homes in Southwest Philadelphia Monday evening, according to media reports.
NBC Philadelphia reports that the break, which occurred around 6 p.m. on the 7600 block of Elmwood Avenue, left the street partially collapsed.
According to 6ABC, 50 customers in the area are without water and the street will remian closed until further notice as crews work to repair the break.
