The 2015 Eagles offseason was about as busy as an offseason can be, with Chip Kelly massively turning the roster over and taking the team in a new direction. And so, during this slow time, let's hand out 10 awards from the Eagles' offseason. Or perhaps more accurately, I just feel like posting my favorite drawings of the offseason.
People deal with grief in many ways, but often in the following five stages. Here's how McCoy dealt with the reality of being traded to Buffalo.
Did you tear an ACL? Are your hamstrings as durable as a rubber band that has been sitting in a drawer for 20 years? Do you have a minimum of two concussions? Have you ever had a compound fracture? If you answered yes to any of the above, then please line up, because Chip Kelly is interested in your services, and he'll even pay you as if you don't have an injury history.
I've gotten a lot of mileage out of the below drawing this offseason, but nine former "Andy Reid guys" moved on in various ways this offseason.
And there will likely be more to come.
Frank Gore reportedly agreed to terms with the Eagles, then eventually decided to sign with the Colts instead. Both the Eagles and Gore's camp have since downplayed Gore's initial commitment to Philly during the "legal tampering" phase of free agency, but still...
Chip Kelly has tried to convince anyone who will listen that there is an open competition for the starting QB job. OK. To get Sam Bradford, the Eagles traded Nick Foles, a second round pick, draft position in the 2015 draft, and they're paying Bradford $13 million this season to sit behind Mark Sanchez? Something tells me this "QB competition" is going to be slightly biased toward Mr. Bradford. Better take matters into your own hands, Mark.

The Eagles tried to trade for Marcus Mariota during the draft, and came up empty. Reports on what the Eagles offered varied, but some reports included a number of players. The Titans ultimately turned all the Eagles' offers down, but certainly some of the players had to have been irked that they were deemed expendable.
Cowboys running back and cologne thief Joseph Randle, who has done nothing in the NFL, noted that 2014 rushing champ DeMarco Murray left a lot of meat on the bone last year. ("Leaving meat on the bone" means that he didn't gain as many yards as he should have). Naturally, Murray was asked about those comments the first chance the media had access to him. He took the high road, or perhaps a subtle jab, saying that Randle is "a good kid."
With 37 inside linebackers on the team, it is rumored that defensive coordinator Bill Davis is toying with a new 1-9-1 defense. An anonymous source snapped a picture of the white board (shown below) in Davis' office:
Yes, Riley Cooper is still on the team.
The answer at RG may have been under our noses (literally and figuratively) all this time. Darren Sproles! At the 2005 NFL Combine, Sproles put up 23 bench press reps. So why not just stick him at RG?
The Eagles could even run the fumblerooski.
