Actor and singer David Duchovny performs at The Cutting Room, in support of the release of his debut album "Hell Or Highwater", on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in New York.

Actor David Duchovny, best known for his roles as Agent Mulder on "The X-Files" and Hank Moody on "Californication," attempted a crossover in 2015 with the release of his first album as a singer-songwriter, "Hell or Highwater."

Fans of the actor's on-screen talent will now have an opportunity to see him on stage in Philadelphia this fall. According to Patch, Duchovny will perform at the Ardmore Music Hall on October 28 at 8 p.m.

Advance tickets for the event go on sale Friday, September 18, for $23. Tickets purchased on the day of the show will cost $28. Diehard Duchovny fans can get a VIP package for $150, including a meet-and-greet with Duchovny, a T-shirt, a CD, and guaranteed seating.

Meanwhile, Fox's long-awaited 'X-Files' reboot will premiere in January. The six-episode series will include a mix of investigative episodes and sci-fi mythology, marking the first time fans have seen Scully and Mulder since the 2008 film, "X-Files: I Want to Believe." One particular point of interest: it will be the characters' first case work together since breaking off their romantic relationship.

Not much can be gleaned from Fox's teaser below, but for those who really cannot wait, the network announced it will premiere the first episode, "My Struggle," at New York Comic-Con in October, including a Q & A with Duchovny and executive producer Chris Carter.
