Woman rescued from Delaware River at Penn's Landing

Went into the water around 4 a.m.

A woman was rescued after falling in the Delaware River at Penn’s Landing early Saturday morning.

The woman fell into the river around 4:00 a.m., reports 6 ABC, at the foot of Market Street.

Police, firefighters using a boat and the Coast Guard responded.

Police have not said how the woman fell into the river, according to the station. She was taken to Hahnemann Hospital for evaluation.
