Celebrate the holidays in Manayunk now with free Jolly Trolley rides,
festive entertainment, tons of holiday lights, and merchant deals &
specials. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in December up until December
23rd, Main Street Manayunk invites you to join in on celebrating the holiday
cheer!
The Jolly Trolley is the most magical way to get around Manayunk this
holiday season, and better yet, it’s FREE! It runs on Thursdays and Fridays
from 5-9 p.m and on Saturdays from 1-9 p.m. Riders can feel free to hop on and
off up and down Main Street, and the entire loop is about 20 minutes in
total.
Each weekend, Manayunk visitors may end up meeting some special guests on
Main Street or on the trolley including jolly old Saint Nick and his elves,
mean Mr. Grinch, and Olaf the Snowman. Other performance groups that may
grace the street include Courtney’s Carolers, The Philadelphia Freedom Band,
Philly Accents, and The Roxborough Orchestra. On Thursday nights, trolley
riders receive complimentary Jolly Trolley swag bags, and during Hanukkah
riders can grab a goodie bag with chocolate gelt, driedles, and other fun
giveaways.

Holiday Lights
Manayunk is LIT for the holiday season! The 4th Annual Manayunk Gets Lit
Competition has over 40 businesses decked out in their holiday best. Doors,
roofs, windows, and more are decorated totaling in 150,000+ lights in
addition to Main Street’s 30 foot holiday tree. It’s truly a winter
wonderland, and the Jolly Trolley provides some of the best views. While taking in the all lights, spectators should be sure to vote for their favorite Get Lit storefronts and be entered for their chance to win a $200 Manayunk Shopping Spree.
