An early morning blaze at a three-story building in West Philly is causing traffic delays for commuters Monday.
As of 6:30 a.m. the fire was under control, however the cold temperatures have caused the water used to extinguish the fire to turn into ice, which is now affecting traffic, NBC 10 reports.
Commuters can expect delays around the area of 52nd Street between Chestnut and Spruce streets.
According to NBC 10,the 2-alarm fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. at the Locust Medical Center building along 52nd Street at Locust Street, believed to be a vacant building formally housing medical offices.
