After a muggy week of intermittent rain throughout the region, Father's Day won't offer much relief from the wet weather.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been put into effect until 1:00 a.m. in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue into Sunday morning for Father's Day, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. By late afternoon, the rain should begin to clear up, but the clouds will remain with a low of around 72.
