After another week that brought heavy rain and thunderstorms into the Delaware Valley, Independence Day weekend appears on track to offer most of us a break from the stormy weather.
On Thursday, rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected along the Jersey Shore, but Philadelphia will largely stay dry heading into the weekend, according to NBC 10. Although there is a possibility of showers on Saturday, evening fireworks events should be clear of wet weather.

Friday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. Northeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
