In the mood for Italian? Here's some good news.

Two Philadelphia restaurants, both from the mind of famous Philadelphia chef Marc Vetri, have scored a spot on a national food website's list of the top Italian eateries in the country.

Vetri, found in Center City, came in at the No. 2 spot on The Daily Meal's recently published "50 Best Italian Restaurants." The website, which called the restaurant a "little jewel box of a place" highlighted its hand-crafted dishes.

"All is served with precision and grace, and there is a wine cellar of more than 2,500 bottles to choose from," the website says.

Vetri has previously been named the best Italian restaurant in the country by Time Out in 2015

Spring Garden's Osteria, owned by the Vetri Family restaurant group, was found at No. 27 on the list. The Daily Meal called its cuisine "homey but first-rate."

Vetri sold the Vetri Family restaurant group – which is responsible for Amis Trattoria, Pizzeria Vetri, Alla Spina, Lo Spiedo as well as Osteria – to Urban Outfitters in 2015.

The Daily Meal compiled its list by looking at classic Italian and Italian-inspired restaurants as well as pizzerias from across the country, while also taking into consideration its "101 Best Restaurants in America" and "101 Best Casual Restaurants" lists.
