Kobe Bryant has never played a minute for the Philadelphia 76ers. In fact, the Lower Merion graduate and Philly native famously said before the 2001 NBA Finals against his hometown team that he would "rip the fans' heart out." He sort of did, as the Lakers won in 5 games.

But amid a seson of struggles for the superstar and coming off the heels of announcing he would retire at the end of this season, Bryant was welcomed with open arms when he was introduced before Tuesday night's game against the Sixers (granted, the crowd was filled with plenty of purple and gold).
