Derrick Jones is a skinny 6’7” freshman forward at UNLV who graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor earlier this year. He went for 30 points, 18 boards, and 6 blocks in the PIAA Class AAA state title game this past March. Jones was also selected Southeastern Pennsylvania Player of the Year by the Inquirer.
So, you already get the idea that he’s pretty good at basketball. What Jones is specifically great at, however, is dunking. Like, he will probably win an NBA Dunk Contest if he makes it to the league. In the Runnin’ Rebels 107-45 victory over New Mexico Highlands (a big rivalry, for sure) on Monday night, we can see some evidence of this:

I mean, that is just ridiculous. Jones’ head is at rim level, and he gets insane extension.
