A trip down the shore could be much more thrilling in 2016 as a new roller coaster is set to open in Ocean City next summer.
Playland's Castaway Cove in Ocean City previewed the upcoming ride in a Facebook post Tuesday. The coaster, dubbed GaleForce, will be 125 feet tall, feature a 90-degree drop, and launch riders at 64 mph.
The park gave a sneak peak of the ride in a video, complete with dramatic music.
According to CBS Philly, the coaster will replace the Looping Python and Flitzer roller coasters, and is expected to be finished by mid-May 2016.
