It was a pretty strange sight at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday night, Nerlens Noel making his first appearance as a visitor since being shipped to the Dallas Mavericks at the NBA trade deadline. And the Sixers did the right thing, saluting the longest surviving Processer with a video tribute:

Noel received a nice hand from the fans, and he ended up getting another one just minutes later when he checked in for the first time:

Things got a bit testy at times this season between Noel and the organization, but for the most part, the 22-year-old (note: He's still super young!) made the best of what was a tough situation for him at times over the past 3.5 years. And as you saw with T.J. McConnell high-fiving him as he checked in, Nerlens is still very popular with his former teammates. Noel and Ben Simmons shot around before the game:
