Philadelphia police are hoping the public can help to identify a wanted individual who, police said, robbed a man on the eighth floor of a building in the city's West Powelton neighborhood, then fled on a fire escape.
According to police, the incident occurred on Nov. 20 at about 5:45 p.m., when the wanted individual approached the victim, a 54-year-old male, in an elevator at an office building, located at 4445 Holden St.
Law enforcement officials described the wanted man as a black male, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has a stocky build and a light beard and wearing a black jacket, and camouflage pants at the time of the incident, police said.
When the elevator stopped on the eighth floor, police said, the mugger blocked the victim's path, so the man couldn't get off the elevator and the men then got into a struggle.

During the struggle, the mugger took $836 from the victim, and police said, he then fled the scene by running down the building's fire escape.
Law enforcement officials said the victim didn't suffer any injuries.
