Police are seeking the public's help in finding the suspects wanted in connection with the robbery of a Wawa in Northeast Philadelphia.
In surveillance video released by police Tuesday, an unknown black male and black female are seen entering a Wawa at 801 Cottman Ave. in Burholme at 12:15 a.m. on July 30.
When a 21-year-old female cashier requests identification, the male suspect walks behind the counter and shoves both employees. He then takes four cartons of Newport cigarettes and flees with the female suspect in an older, dark-colored Saturn operated by a third unknown person, police say.
They were last seen heading north on Rockwell Avenue.
Police describe the three suspects as follows:
Suspect No. 1: Black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, dark complexion, thin build, missing all teeth, wearing a black and red baseball cap with a “P” on the front, black shirt with green print and “Got bit” on the front and “Bite” on the back, dark-colored shorts, carrying a light blue bookbag.
Suspect No. 2: Black female, medium build, dark complexion, wearing a black shirt, dark-colored shorts, white tube socks and sneakers.
Suspect No. 3: Unknown. This suspect was the operator of a dark-colored, four-door vehicle used to leave the scene.
