Police in one Jersey Shore town are reminding residents that it is illegal to remove campaign signs from another person's property.
A recent theft in Ocean County, New Jersey, was captured on surveillance video.
On Monday around 9 p.m., two individuals were driving on Bowsprit Drive in Bayville. One suspect exited the vehicle and stole a Donald Trump "Make American Great Again" sign that was displayed on the lawn before fleeing the area.
The Ocean County's Prosecutor's Office (OCPO) said there have been "a number of signs unlawfully taken from homes in this neighborhood."
Law enforcement officials urge anyone with information about the thefts to contact the OCPO at (732) 929-2027.
There are only 67 more days until the election.
