A helicopter lift operation had large pieces of heavy equipment suspended above Center City Sunday morning, affecting morning travel and commuters.
The operation began at 4 a.m. and will last until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17. The helicopter is delivering equipment to a Center City building as part of a project to replace HVAC equipment at 2000 Market St., according to the Inquirer.
Trains are operating on a normal Sunday schedule, however passengers are not able to exit the 15th Street Station concourse until after 3 p.m.
