A counselor at a school in the city's Harrowgate neighborhood had her purse stolen as she helped perform CPR on a student, according to information released by Philadelphia police Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred Jan. 6 at about 4:22 p.m. as the 32-year-old woman who works at the Ad Prima Charter School, 3556 Frankford Ave., was caring for a student having a medical emergency.
Police said that while the woman tended to the child, she placed her purse on a stairway inside the school, and when she returned minutes later, the handbag was missing.

After reviewing school surveillance, police said that a Hispanic male can be seen allegedly taking the purse.
