Philadelphia police are seeking the public's help identifying a wanted man who, police say, displayed a handgun and robbed a Dollar General store in Northern Liberties on Sunday, Nov. 22.
According to police, at about 8:10 p.m. Sunday, a man entered the Dollar General at 501 Spring Garden St., picked up an item and brought it to the cashier for purchase.
However, police say that when the 20-year-old female employee scanned the item, the man lifted his shirt to display a handgun and demanded the employee empty the cash register.
