WATCH: Gunman fires wildly along Kensington street

The Philadelphia Police are seeking this man for firing several shots across a Kensington street from a 9mm handgun on Nov. 4.

The Philadelphia Police are seeking help from the public to identify and locate a gunman wanted for an early evening shooting that occurred Nov. 4 in Upper Kensington.

According to police, the incident occurred at 7:45 p.m., while police officers in the city's 24th District were on patrol in the area of 400 East Indiana Avenue.

At that time, police said, the officers heard gunshots and began to search the area, looking for witnesses and victims. Officers found neither, police said, but at the scene, they found three 9mm casings on the ground on the 400 block of East Indiana Avenue. 

Officers were able to obtain surveillance from the scene which depicts an unknown male pulling a handgun and randomly firing shots into the air.

As can be seen on the video, the gunman attempts to fire the weapon several times, but instead seems to have some trouble firing the gun. 

He can be seen aiming, but the gun doesn't fire and he stops to look at the weapon and leaves the scene. 

A short time later, in the video, the suspect returns and this time, the gun operates. He can be seen firing several shots into the air before he flees the scene in an unknown direction.

Police have described the gunman as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old.
