Looks like U.K. pop singer Ed Sheeran is pretty familiar with a Philadelphia favorite.
The international pop singer performed an acoustic version of the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" theme song while on a popular British radio show earlier this week.
Why? It was all for a loyal fan. One woman called in to make the request for the 90s classic on the Capital FM Evening Show with Roman Kemp, and Sheeran delivered.
"Just wanted to say that I have two loves, both you and the TV sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” she said. “It would make my life if you could possibly bring the two together and sing the Fresh Prince intro bit for me.”
The radio show's host gave him the option to back out.
"It's your call, mate. You don't have to do it if you don't want to do it," Kemp said. "It'd be sick, but it's up to you."
However, Sheeran went through with the request.
Watch the cover, uploaded by the station Wednesday, below:
Sheeran announced Thursday that his next album, "÷", will be released March 3. The singer also released two singles, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" last Friday. He also divulged that he would be in an upcoming segment of the immensely popular "Carpool Karaoke" on "The Late Late Show with James Corden."
It's been three years since Sheeran released his last record, "x".
