When the Eagles take the gridiron at Soldier Field tonight, they’ll have a good amount of support from the Delaware Valley. How do we know? Via Calkins Media’s Ed Kracz, Eagles fan group “The Green Legion” made sure Bears fans knew they were in town during Sunday’s Cubs-Brewers game.
Believe it or not, the Chicago fans weren’t too pleased. So much for Midwestern hospitality:

According to The Green Legion’s website (which also has information about future trips this season if you want to get in on the fun), some fans also had the option to attend Notre Dame-Michigan State on Saturday for what add up to an incredible sports weekend in Chicago. Day baseball at Wrigley Field is as good as it gets.
It should be pointed out that both Notre Dame and the Cubs lost their respective games this weekend. Can the Eagles make it a clean sweep on Monday Night Football in a few hours?
