This suspect danced his way out of a Center City restaurant after swiping a purse.
Police are looking for a suspect who tried to get groovy while swiping a purse at a downtown restaurant.
The theft occurred on July 26 at the Entree BYOB Restaurant located at 1608 South Street. In surveillance video released Friday, the man can be seen entering the eatery with a woman around 12:40 a.m.
When his friend goes to the restroom, the man begins to sway back and forth, and can be seen reaching behind his back and grabbing the complainant's purse.
He then begins dancing, sliding the stolen item under his shirt and fleeing the restaurant. His female companion, who is considered a person of interest, then runs out as well. Watch the video here:
