Philadelphia police are seeking the public's help identifying the individual they say robbed a Dollar General store in the city's Yorktown neighborhood.
According to police, on Jan. 2 at 8:10 a.m., a suspect entered the Dollar General store at 901 W. Girard Ave., approached an employee at the front register, raised a handgun at the cashier and demanded money.

Police said that after the employee opened a safe, the suspect removed two bags containing an unknown amount of money and cash from the cash register, placing it inside a yellow Dollar General bag.
He then fled and was last seen on a red bicycle heading west through the parking lot, then north toward Master Street.
Police described the suspect as a black man in his late 30s who was wearing thick, black-rimmed glasses; a green scarf; a green knit hat; ashy black pants; a cream-colored shirt and pants; a brown V-neck sleeveless sweater and black snow gloves.
