Tuesday night's basketball game between Goldey-Beacom and the University of the Sciences might not have been on your televisions, but the crazy fashion in which it ended is still assuredly worth your time.
With the game tied at 68 in overtime, Goldey-Beacom senior center Elijah Tillman caught the ball at his own foul line, took one dribble, launched... and flat-out drained the long heave. The three-ball broke the deadlock and gave Goldey-Beacom a 71-68 win. Check it out here:
That is an incredible way to win and also an even worse way to lose. With the victory, the Lightning improved to 2-2 on the season. USciences fell to 1-4.
