Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant and a few of his teammates had a laugh Sunday over the nickname circulating of late for the Sixers' young core.

Warriors teammates Durant, JaVale McGee and former Sixer Andre Iguodala were caught on tape before a celebrity softball game in Oakland joking about the FEDS, a Joel Embiid-endorsed tag for the foursome of Markelle Fultz, Embiid, Dario Saric and Ben Simmons.

"Fultz, Embiid, Dario and Simmons. The 'FEDS,'" Iguodala told an uninformed McGee while the three jawed behind home plate at the Oakland Coliseum.

As Iguodala then let out a laugh, Durant chipped in.

"How they got a nickname and ain't played no games together?" Durant deadpanned.

Although Embiid attributed Sixers fans for the new label, the 23-year-old added fuel to the fire when he tweeted out "the FEDS are coming" after Philly selected Fultz with the top pick in Thursday's NBA draft.

Too soon?

With only Saric playing anywhere close to a full NBA season out of the four, some, like Durant, would agree.

But others, like Simmons, might want to ditch the nicknames altogether.
