You may have noticed nurses across America taking over your social media feeds the past couple of days.
In case you missed it, their campaign, #NursesUnite, is in response to comments made by the hosts of "The View" regarding the recent Miss America pageant.
The ladies on the panel, including Michelle Collins, Joy Behar, Raven-Symoné, Paula Faris and Whoopi Goldberg addressed the criticism Wednesday morning.
"I want to say, we love nurses. If you're watching, we adore you, respect you. Clap for the nurses," Collins said. "You are wonderful and the most compassionate people."
She added that her remarks were "misconstrued."
Behar faced backlash for asking why Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson was wearing a "doctor's stethoscope" during her monologue. She apologized, saying she was "inattentive."
The comment regarding the stethoscope, in particular, received criticism from a number of nurses (and even Dr. Oz) on social media.
Many are still saying they don't feel the apologies were enough.
Do you think it was enough? Tell us in the comments section.
