Surveillance video captures suspects stealing ATM from Palm Tree Market on Cresson Street in Manayunk.
Philadelphia Police have released a video that shows two suspects stealing an entire ATM from the Palm Tree Market located on Cresson Street in Manayunk.
The Northwest Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspects who can be seen using a hand truck to wheel the ATM into a van.
According to the Philly Police blog, the incident occurred at 5:10 am on Saturday, June 20. The two male suspects waited outside the market for approximately 5 minutes before approaching the front entrance. One of the suspects then pulled out a prying device to open the front door while the other suspect served as the lookout. After gaining entry, one of the suspects pried the ATM free and loaded it onto the hand truck seen in the video.
The vehicle is described as a white GMC-style work van with the front hubcap missing. Both suspects wore masks but were described as males of unknown race with stocky builds, wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts and baggy jeans.
