More than two years after her sudden departure from 98.1 WOGL, Valerie Knight is back on the Philadelphia airwaves.
The former co-host of "The Breakfast Club," who spent 14 years with WOGL, was let go by the radio station in December 2016. Her former co-hosts, Frank Lewis and Bill Zimpfer, both left the radio station within months of each other in 2017.

In a pair of announcements on Facebook, 106.1 The Breeze (WISX) announced Thursday that Knight now will be hosting mornings at the station from 6-10 a.m.
"I can't wait to talk to you and be with you again," Knight said in a video. "I'm back in the game, baby!"
Late last year, WISX switched formats from Real 106.1 to Soft Adult Contemporary, adopting the tagline, "Philly's Relaxing Favorites." The change included the station cutting ties with former hosts Chio Acosta and Shila Nathan.
Knight, who grew up in King of Prussia and lives in Philadelphia, will start mornings at 106.1 The Breeze with her "Show Biz Buzz" entertainment report.
