Adoptable dogs will join Yappy Hour at Uptown Beer Garden.
Uptown Beer Garden in Center City will host a slew of Yappy Hours in August and September to benefit the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. The events will include food and drink specials with adorable, adoptable pets on parade thanks to PAWS on the Mondays of Aug. 24 and Sept. 14 and 28.
During each Yappy Hour PAWS volunteers will showcase adoptable pets from 5-6:30 p.m., while guests can purchase $3 draft beers and $5 featured cocktails. Guacamole and chips will be available for $4 and a wurst sandwich will be available for $5.
There's no cover charge for admission and happy, well-behaved pups will be allowed to attend with their humans. A portion of proceeds from the night will go to PAWS and guests will be able to donate to the organization on-site, too.
