Forget gift cards and stocking stuffers – Uber is planning on dropping $10,000 each on a driver and rider in the Philadelphia area this holiday season.
To enter? Just ride.
Uber recently announced the sweepstakes exclusive to the region. Each ride in Philly between Tuesday and Dec. 31 will enter the customer in for a chance to win the cash prize.
According to the rules, residents must be at least 18 and live in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware and either drive or ride in Philly, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and/or Chester counties.
Riders can enter up to 25 times. A mail-in option is available, too.
The winner will be contacted on Jan. 3, according to the company.
The sweepstakes started the same day that news emerged of a Philadelphia woman whose bank account was flagged after Uber accidentally placed a $28,639.14 charge.
But ridesharing companies like Uber and Lyft have only recently become legal in Philadelphia.
Gov. Tom Wolf signed a bill in early November that gave the companies the go-ahead in Pennsylvania, which protected it against the Philadelphia Parking Authority who filed lawsuits in efforts to cease its operations.
