Two men were injured early Tuesday morning during an attempted robbery in North Philadelphia, 6ABC reports.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on the 3000 block of Germantown Ave.
The men say a man with a gun approached them on the passenger side while they were stopped in their car and demanded money.
The victim on the passenger side claims he was shot in his hand when he tried to grab the gun. The bullet then hit the driver of the car in his hip.
The victim was able to drive to the 1200 block of W. Atlantic Ave., where both victims got out and walked to the Temple University Hospital emergency room. They are listed in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
