Two bank robbery suspects sought by authorities

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects in separate bank robberies since Sunday morning.

On Monday, a man robbed the Citizens Bank branch at 6324 Stenton Ave. in East Germantown, law enforcement officials said.

They gave the following account:

About 11:09 a.m., the suspect entered the bank and handed a note to a teller. He fled after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

The subject is described as a black male in his 40s, approximately 5’11” tall, thin build, with a mustache. He wore a black jacket over a white shirt and dark-colored tie, dark pants, a tan hat, and sunglasses, authorities said. He is considered armed and dangerous.

A suspect is also wanted in a bank robbery Sunday morning at the TD Bank branch at 6635 Frankford Ave. in Mayfair.

Authorities gave this account of the incident:

A man entered the bank about 11:20 a.m. and handed a demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 45 years old and 5’10” tall, thin build, with a gray goatee and tattoos on both sides of his face. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt over a blue shirt, blue jeans, and a black Phillies cap.

Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about either robbery or suspect is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to their capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
