Two arrested, another still at large in attack on Philly school police officers

Police are still trying to locate one suspect and have arrested two others following the attack on two Philadelphia school police officers in the Northeast section of the city.

The incident occurred Monday afternoon on the 1900 block of Cottman Avenue.

The two officers were attempting to break up a fight between two of the suspects and two Northeast High School students. After the combatants were separated, the two assailants and another man attacked the officers.

Authorities said Roger Millington, 19, turned himself in Wednesday and an unidentified juvenile was arrested Thursday in connection to the crime. Both are being charged with aggravated assault and related offenses.

The third suspect, identified as 23-year-old Edwin Burgos, remains on the run. His last known address is on the 600 block of West Huntingdon Street in the Fairhill section of the city.
