Turkey and Pear Sandwich
Ingredients:
• 2 slices of whole-wheat bread
• ¼ avocado, sliced
• 2 ounces of reduced-sodium deli-style turkey meat
• 2 slices of a medium tomato
• 2 leaves, small, tender Bibb or iceburg lettuce leaves, rinsed, drained, and
dried
• 1 pear, thinly sliced with seeds removed
Directions:
- Toast the bread.
- Build sandwich by smashing and spreading avocado on one slice of toast. Layer with turkey, tomato, lettuce, and slices of pear (to fit). Top with second slice of toast.
- Serve with remaining pear.
