The Philadelphia International Cycling Classic will run its course down Kelly Drive on Sunday, June 7. In addition to the Women's Road World Cup (the first time the women's event is the featured race of the day) and the Men's UCI America Tour race, the Classic will host The Bicycling Open for the public.
Before the professional races, the 12.3-mile course circuit is open to recreational riders. Participants can pick up their ride packets at 6 a.m. before starting on the course at 6:45 a.m. They'll get to complete as many laps as they can before the 8 a.m. deadline. Timing points for the race will sit atop the Manayunk Wall and Lemon Hill.
All cyclists must pre-register for the recreational race; online registration ends Friday, June 5 at 10 p.m. Refreshments and a bike valet will be available before and after the event. The Men's UCI America Tour race begins at 8 a.m. and the Women's Road World Cup begins at 12:30 p.m.
