President Donald Trump is scheduled to ring in the nation's birthday weekend in New Jersey.
Trump will be staying at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster Township, according to an official White House statement obtained by The Hill.
Trump, along with First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron, headed for the Garden State shortly after 5 p.m. Friday after meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
The weekend will mark his third visit to the golf club since becoming president. Spending much of the winter at the Trump National Golf Club in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, the Bedminster club has been nicknamed Trump's "summer White House."
No public schedule for Trump's New Jersey visit has been released yet, NJ.com reported.
There was much speculation last week that the president would be heading to Bedminster over the weekend after pilots received a warning to avoid the area from Friday until Monday.
Trump tweeted back in May that his stay in New Jersey "saves the country money."
The Associated Press reported that his summer stays could cost as much as $300,000 for heightened security measures.
