Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is expected to host "Saturday Night Live" on November 7, NBC News reports.
Trump previously hosted the network's comedy show in April 2004.
Here's some of what social media had to say about Tuesday's announcement:
Donald Trump is hosting SNL on November 7, the day after my birthday. Is this an Onion headliner? A really bad birthday gift? BOTH??

Trump leading the race for the GOP's nomination and hosting SNL in 2015 is like something some hack satirist would have written in the 80s.
