A Tropical Depression could bring heavy rains, winds, and flooding to the Philadelphia region this coming week.
According to the National Weather Service of Mount Holly, the incoming storm is making its way up the East Coast and could have a significant impact on the area.
Even if the weather system doesn't track close to the area, a combination of winds and pressure will likely cause coastal flooding in Delaware and New Jersey on Thursday, the NWS says.
In addition, heavy rainfall is expected late Tuesday into Wednesday, with another round of downpours possibly coming later in the week.
Winds are also expected to intensify to as fast as 30 mph in inland areas and up to 40 mph near coastal areas later in the week.
Residents, especially those near the coast, are advised to check forecasts regularly between Tuesday and Friday.
