For the first time, Tria will offer more than beer and wine. Beginning April 4, Tria Taproom will serve four draft cocktails.

The cocktails, made from various spirits and fresh juices, will be poured from kegs through taps at the bar. The Tria team worked closely with Marshall Altier of New York's Spirit House Consultants to create the new drinks.

An adjustment to Tria's draft lines allows each cocktail to taste like it was shaken or stirred.

Shaken cocktails:

• Black ’n Stormy – Made with Cruzan Black Strap rum, organic ginger simple syrup, Pickett’s American Craft Hot 'n' Spicy Ginger Beer and Persian lime juice

• Sparkling Vesper – Made with Bluecoat gin and Stateside vodka with Cocchi Americano and lemon oleo saccharum

Stirred cocktails:

• Oaxaca Old Fashioned – Made with Cimmarón Reposado tequila and Vicío Mezcal Blanco, amber agave nectar and Angostura bitters

• Continental Sour – Made with Kinsey rye, lemon and cane sugar, then topped with a Claret float and garnished with a lemon wedge

"Pouring them on draft gives us the utmost control over our product. Every cocktail is perfectly proportioned," stated owner Jon Myerow.

To celebrate, Tria Taproom will host a launch party on April 4 from 5-8 p.m. with a DJ. The cocktails, which are priced at $11-$12, will be discounted to $10 each.
