Travel + Leisure: Philly is a top city for new restaurants

Mag names Philadelphia one of "U.S.’s most exciting restaurant cities"

When it comes to being on lists for being awesome, Philadelphia is on a roll lately. And we can tack on one more list to the list of lists. Travel + Leisure named Philly one of the best cities for new restaurants, among other superstars like Copenhagen, Tokyo, London and New York City.

T + L deemed Philly "Portland East" — which most of us would disagree with — but did say the City of Brotherly Love boasts "a fierce indie spirit and world-class kitchen talent."

The article gave nods to Peter Serpico's Serpico, Michael Solomonov's Zahav, Federal Donuts, Dizengoff and Abe Fisher and Eli Kulp's High Street on Market.
