A three-vehicle crash along I-295 left a salt truck overturned and at least one tractor trailer jackknifed early Thursday morning, NBC10 reports.
New Jersey State Police said the accident occurred around 5:25 a.m. on I-295 southbound near Exit 18 in Paulsboro, Gloucester County. The jackknifed tractor trailer left the right and center lanes blocked.
6abc Action News reports that the driver of the salt truck has been taken to Cooper University Hospital. There was no immediate word on his condition.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and cleared the salt spilled on the road during the crash.
Drivers can expect some delays for the morning commute.
