Vehicles travel the stretch of the Schuylkill Expressway between Roosevelt Boulevard and City Avenue, named one of the worst traffic bottlenecks in the nation.
Several eastbound lanes on the Schuylkill Expressway are blocked after a tractor-trailer overturned Tuesday afternoon near Girard Avenue in West Philadelphia.
According to 6ABC, the incident occurred around 2 p.m. when a truck collided with an unidentified vehicle.
The truck overturned and appears to have spilled its contents onto the roadway.
Traffic delays mounted, but motorists were able to get around the crash using the right shoulder.
It's not clear whether anyone was injured.
