You may have heard that serial restaurateurs Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran are set to give Federal Donuts a serious, albeit fleeting, run for their money this week. Chef Turney's famous budino dessert will be turned into a donut for just two days: Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
The Salted Caramel Budino Donut, a variation on the budino pudding served at Barbuzzo, will be available for $4 each at the Marcie Blaine Chocolate counter in Verde starting at 10 a.m. Once they sell out, they're gone, so be sure to get there early.
