The Florida Department of Health has confirmed three pregnant state residents have tested positive for the Zika virus, all after having traveled outside the country, the Miami Herald reports.

To date, Florida has 32 confirmed cases of Zika virus, a mosquito-borne illness that’s been raging through Central and South America and may be linked to physical and neurological birth defects, namely babies being born with abnormally small heads, or microcephaly.
Florida officials have not identified the three women or the areas where they traveled.
Florida Gov. Rick Scott also reportedly requested that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention send 250 additional Zika antibody tests to the state.
