A high school in Montgomery County was placed on a lockout Wednesday morning due to a threat, the school district said on its website.
Methacton School District said it was notified of a threat against a student at Methacton High School in Eagleville in the early morning.
In "an abundance of caution," the high school was placed on lockout as authorities investigated the threat.
The lockout was lifted shortly before 9:30 a.m.
The school district reported that the individual responsible was in custody, and the high school returned to a regular building operation.
No injuries were reported.
