The Jersey Cape has a bustling lineup of events scheduled for July

From free concerts and movies under the stars to New York-caliber theater productions, there's something for everyone.

The Jersey Cape, famous for its 30 miles of breathtaking beaches, charming coastal towns, rich history, and vibrant culture, has been delighting families for generations.

This summer, visitors can look forward to an exciting lineup of free concerts and outdoor movies under the stars, as well as indoor performances by The Ocean City Pops Orchestra, The Beach Boys, and other legendary entertainers at the Historic Music Pier on Ocean City’s boardwalk.

New York-caliber theater productions are also scheduled at Cape May’s theaters. This season’s lineup includes:

“The Heat is On”

When: July 6 – 12 at 8 p.m.
Where: Cape May Stage on Lafayette Street
More: Rita Hayworth pays tribute to the life of Rita Hayworth, the star that built Columbia Pictures.

“Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt 2B”

When: July 17 – August 25
Where: Cape May Stage on Lafayette Street
More: An irreverent, darkly comic modern take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous sleuth and sidekick.

“Dial M for Murder”

When: July 31 – August 31
Where: East Lynne Theater, 500 Hughes St.
More: This fresh adaptation, inspired by the original thriller and Hitchcock’s masterpiece, has been making waves across the country, earning acclaim at leading regional theaters.
