The Chicks will perform "Taking the Long Way" in its entirety at The Met Philadelphia on Oct. 7 as part of the album's 20th anniversary tour.

The Chicks are bringing the 20th anniversary celebration of one of their biggest albums to Philadelphia this fall.

The trio will perform at The Met on Wednesday, Oct. 7, as part of a tour marking two decades since the release of Taking the Long Way. For the first time, The Chicks will play the album from beginning to end, then finish the night with other favorites from their career.

Released in 2006, Taking the Long Way includes "Not Ready to Make Nice," "The Long Way Around" and "Easy Silence." The record went on to win five Grammys, including album of the year. "Not Ready to Make Nice" also earned record and song of the year.

The Philadelphia stop comes one week after the tour opens in Detroit on Sept. 30. The Chicks also will perform in Chicago, Washington, New York, Boston, Nashville and several other cities before wrapping up with three shows in Los Angeles in early November.

Tickets are available now.
