The 9th Annual Lemon Run will take place in Fairmount Park in November

The family-friendly race is hosted by Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, will host The Lemon Run Philadelphia 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Dash in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, will host the Lemon Run on Sunday, Nov. 12, in Fairmount Park.

The family-friendly and pet-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk for all ages and the Kids’ Dash for those under 8. The day’s festivities will also include various forms of entertainment, music and guest speakers.

Registration ranges from $15 to $45, depending on age, what part of The Lemon Run you want to participate in and when you sign up. All are encouraged to form teams and raise additional funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The Lemon Run 5K begins at Memorial Hall and loops through Fairmount Park. More than 2,000 runners will complete the 3.1-mile course.
